across the street from each other. Directions below.

Doors open 8:00am    Captain's Meeting 8:15am     Play begins 8:30am

• Nirsa 2005 Rules in effect. (i.e. USAV rules)

• Winning team gets $200 (except Alumni team $100)

• NIU in DeKalb is 60 miles west of downtown Chicago

• MAP from everywhere to the Field House and the Rec Center

• A driving tip: the NIU Exit - Annie Glidden Rd - is mile marker 91.5 on I-88

• Exit I-88 at Annie Glidden Road. Pay 55 cents (must have exact change, both on & off) and continue STRAIGHT ahead out of the Toll booth 1 1/4 miles to the Lincoln Highway (Rt 38) stoplight. Go left to hotels, OR continue straight ahead on Annie Glidden a few more blocks to EVANS FIELD HOUSE and also the REC CENTER.

• FIELD HOUSE   Turn right on Stadium Drive  just before the Field House (it's the building on the right side of Annie Glidden with a huge white curved roof.) Turn left into the parking lot. Free, unlimited parking on Saturdays. If you miss Stadium Drive go an extra block to the Lucinda Avenue stop light. Turn right on Lucinda and then right, and right into the parking lot. Entrance is at the SOUTH EAST end of the building (not Lucinda Avenue entrance.)

• REC CENTER is on the left side of Annie Glidden across from the Field House. go past Stadium Drive and past the Field House to the Lucinda Ave stop light. Turn left. Then left again at the end of the block, and left into the Rec parking lot. Free unlimited parking on Saturdays though there is another big event at the Rec and it will be crowded. We start 2 hours before they do. So parking should be available early. But once they start...don't move your car.

• FOOD

Across the street from the Field House are Subway, Domino's, Indian, Chinese, Hot dogs,

and Street Potatoes (a new place that sells potatoes just opened. Haven't been there yet.)

• HOTEL STUFF

These four hotels are all next to each other, two blocks southwest of the Field House, in the middle of lotsa' fast food places.

There is NOT a home football game this weekend but there IS a concert Friday night that is going to attract many non-students who will be looking for rooms. So if you're staying here Friday you might want to book your room early to avoid a conflict.   Big & Rich? Never heard of them? it? him?  But apparently a lot of other people have. Book your room now.
