Northern Illinois University is pleased to host the 1st Qualifier for the 2006 Midwest Ten Conference season on Feb 18

NIU is the host only. The schedule, fees, and format come from MIVA / MW10.

Rec Center opens at 8:00am

Play begins at 8:45am

Six teams play at 8:45, three teams work at 8:45. Figure on being busy at 8:45am.

Every team will play six matches. Last matches start at 6:30pm.

• NIU in DeKalb is 60 miles west of downtown Chicago

• MAP from everywhere to the NIU Recreation Center

• A driving tip: the NIU Exit - Annie Glidden Rd - is mile marker 91.5 on I-88

• Exit I-88 at Annie Glidden Road. Pay $1.10 (must have exact change, both on & off) and continue straight ahead out of the Toll booth for 1 1/4 miles to the Lincoln Highway (Rt 38) stoplight. Go left to hotels, OR continue straight ahead on Annie Glidden a few more blocks to the . . . .

• REC CENTER is on the west side of Annie Glidden at the corner of Annie Glidden and Lucinda Ave. Go past the Rec and turn left at the Lucinda Ave stop light. Turn left again at the end of the block, and left into the Rec parking lot. Free unlimited parking on Saturdays in the Rec parking lot.

• No parking Saturday on the streets. Don't waste your money on the metered spots. There is plenty of free parking.

• Park in any parking lot, but not in metered spots. Don't park in the street.

• FOOD

One block east of the Rec Center are Subway, Domino's, Chinese, Hot dogs, Pita

Two blocks SE of the Rec Center are McDonalds, Burger King, Pizza Hut, etc.

• HOTEL STUFF

These four hotels are all next to each other, two blocks southwest of the Rec, in the middle of lotsa' fast food places.
