NIU in DeKalb is 50 miles west of Chicago

MAP from everywhere to the Rec Center

A driving tip: the NIU Exit - Annie Glidden Rd - is mile marker 91.5 on Interstate 88 (I-Pass or exact change)

Exit I-88 at Annie Glidden Road and continue straight ahead for 1 1/4 miles to the Lincoln Highway (Rt 38) stoplight.

Go left to hotels or continue straight ahead on Annie Glidden a few more blocks to the Student Rec Center.

REC CENTER

is on the left / west side of Annie Glidden. Go past Stadium Drive and past the Field House to the Lucinda Ave stop light. Turn left.

Then left again at the end of the block, and left into the Rec parking lot.

PARKING

Free unlimited parking on weekends in the Rec parking lot. Don't waste your money on the meters in the parking lot.

Two other free lots are south of the Rec. Park in any parking lot, but not in metered spots unless you're rich.

FOOD

A block from the Rec on Lucinda Avenue are Subway, Domino's, Chinese, Hot dogs, Pita

Next to the hotels are KFC, Long John Silver, Panda Express, McDonalds, Burger King, Taco Bell, gyros etc.

These three hotels are all within a block of each other, two blocks south of the Rec Center, and near fast food.

Starting 100 feet west of Annie Glidden Road on Lincoln Highway . . . . .
